ABOUT BOZEMAN'S JROTC PROGRAM

Approved by the U.S. Army Cadet Command in 2014, Bozeman’s JROTC program was founded due to the incredible support and relentless efforts of Deane Bozeman’s Administration and Bay County School District’s leadership who understood and identified the importance and need for quality leadership training for the students of our community.

Although the program is in its early stages, we are committed to succeed and are moving forward full force to provide our students in grades 9th through 12th with the opportunity to acquire the personal, interpersonal, and leadership skills that will prepare them for the future.

Bozeman’s JROTC is designed to instill the values of citizenship, selfless service, and personal responsibility in its cadets as well as to provide them with a sense of accomplishment.  The program is designed to develop leadership skills, strengthen their character, and learn effective self-discipline in and outside the classroom.

This innovative program requires cadets to pass all of their courses, demonstrate high moral standards, and adhere to a strict code of conduct.  The JROTC program helps young people develop a range of admirable skills and values designed to assist them during their school years and beyond.
